About us

It was Rajiv Trivedi’s dream and vision to have an institute for mosaic art. His strong passion and love for the art gave birth to CMA in 2014. He wanted someone to take it forward and Devanshi, who was very artistically inclined, took the reins to run CMA. She trained locally at glass factories and then polished her skills with varied workshops in mosaic art at Orsoni, Venice and Scoula Mosaicisti del Fruili, Spilimbergo. But to drive CMA towards success, the right team was required. With a meticulous hiring process we recruited people from renowned design schools like Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore and Indian Institute of Craft and Design (IICD), Jaipur. With a design education background, they showed a better skillset as well when it came to learning mosaic art.

CMA promotes the original art of mosaic making. It traces back to the roots of mosaic and that is what sets CMA apart making it truly unique. We did our first show, ‘ Eccentric’ in 2019. Those 5 years after launching were an investment in persevering to be the best, creating a patient and passionate team and gaining the self-confidence to manage commercial projects in the best possible manner. CMA saw new levels of progress when we participated in the RAW Collaborative where we were appreciated and commissioned by people from across the country.

Our artworks are used in commercial as well as residential spaces in the form of sculptures, murals and wall accessories. This art is still very new in India and we want it to be known, understood and appreciated by as many possible and so we conduct workshops at beginner and advanced levels which have been very well received.
